VICTORIA’S Secret’s sexiest actress Jessica Alba has depicted her violin playing as sounding like “a cat on heat”.
Alba plays a blind concert violinist in her latest horror flim titled ‘The Eye’ and plays the string instrument herself – although she professes that her playing sounds dreadful.
“All the notes are accurate, I am playing the actual notes of music, but on set it just sounds like a cat in heat so in the film a real-life violinist is heard playing,” The ‘Fantastic Four’ actress explained.
Alba claims that, at first, she struggled to pleasantly play even the simplest pieces, even with her hour-and-a-half practice sessions every day.
She further explained: “I started with ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star’. It’s impossible.”
‘The Eye’ is a remake of Hong Kong film ‘Jian Gui’ and is produced by ‘Top Gun’ star Tom Cruise’s production company. The plot follows a violinist [Alba] who receives an eye transplant to restore her sight, but the eye brings the young girl more than she bargained for when it afflicts her with supernatural visions.

‘AMERICAN Idol’ Kelly Clarkson was rocking out to the L.A. set of her “Never Again” music video shoot on Friday. The pop/rock star wore a cool all-white suit – very classy Kelly. She was also spotted wearing a rocker chic outfit earlier this week.
In the rocking video, Kelly claims that she will “haunt” her ex.
She tells MTV: “Not to get all artsy-fartsy, but I’m all in white, everything is in white, because it’s been ripped of innocence. Anyone who’s ever been in love, when it goes bad — and sadly, everyone can relate in some manner — it just gets cold and it’s hard to get past that.”
Clarkson added: “There’s more ‘me’ on this record. I had more hold on the reins because I wrote the entire thing. It wasn’t planned like that, because I don’t think you have to write everything you sing, but on this one I had a lot to say. I’m not even this open with boyfriends!”
Kelly highly anticipated album titled ‘My December’ is scheduled to be released later this year. YIPPEEE!!!

‘BOURNE Identity’ star Matt Damon has set out to find his ‘super-hero’ identity – trying to save the planet one lot of junkmail at a time.
The movie star has joined an organization that attempts to halt the tons of junk mail delivered to American homes each day.
Damon has reconciled his famous forces with website GreenDimes.com in an effort to endorse environmental efforts to avert and ultimately save the trees used for junk mail letters and envelopes from being chopped down.
Damon says, “For an estimated dime a day they can stop 70 per cent of the junk mail that comes to your house.”
“It’s very simple, easy to do, great gift to give, I’ve actually signed up my entire family. It was a gift given to me this past holiday season and I was so impressed that I’m now on the board of the company.”
The GreenDimes.com organization also plants a tree for every new member.

‘Spider-Man’s Kirsten Dunst admittedly loves her music but vows that she will NEVER release a CD.
Despite the young actress singing in Spider-Man 3, as well as Marie Antoinette, The Cat’s Meow and Bring it on she swears that “never, ever, ever, no, no, no” will she follow the lead of such Hollywood actors as Russell Crowe, Toni Collette, Jared Leto – who all in my opinion are pretty spectacular – and countless other musical aspirees by creating a band and releasing a CD.
Dunst, who can actually sing well, says, “Definitely not. No way. It worked when Barbra Streisand was doing it, but now it’s a little cheesy, I think. It works better when singers are in movies.”
Despite her pledge and history as one of the few child actors to successfully translate her talents to adulthood, music looms large in Dunst’s life. She is now negotiating to play Deborah Harry in a coming biopic having been asked by the Blondie singer is a regular fixture at gigs in the US and was recently seen at the prestigious South By Southwest Music Festival.
“I am a big music person, yes,” she confirmed. “I think Arcade Fire is the best band of their generation.
“Other than that I am a big Kate Bush fan and Joni Mitchell fan and Bruce Springsteen fan. Regina Spektor, I think she is great.”

The series, which will begin tonigh at 7pm EAST, has promised to ditch the cash, cars and other rewards this time – surprising the public.T
hough, it has recently been revealed that the reality TV show contestants will instead be competing for prizes during the series. It seems the shows prize-pool has done a 180 from the previous years idea of playing for a pre-determined cash pool.
An insider revealed yesterday,“During the run of the series there will be some prizes or prize money. How these pan out [for contestants] during the series, Big Brother is not revealing at the moment.”
It is said that Australia will be introduced to 18 Big Brother contestants tonight but not all of which will get to enter the ‘Dreamworld’ house.A number of contestants, predicted to be 10, will automatically go into the house tonight – but Australia will have 24 hours to vote two people in from the other group of housemates. We will be partially incontrol.
The two winning contestants of the vote will enter the house on Monday night.
”When you get to year seven you have to throw some hand grenades,” executive producer Tim Toni said on the changes to this year’s series.
Also, the show has apparently aimed to prevent such controversies as last year’s ‘turkey slapping’ incident by this time choosing more “worldly” and older housemates.
