By Honey Gillard

MISS Hilary Duff can pull out the champagne as her new release ‘Dignity’ becomes this week’s highest selling debut of the Nielsen’s Soundscan chart.

Dignity marks the first album Hilary Duff officially wrote. The album sports a new musical style for the Duffster, as well as a more mature look. The spunky Cd was released April 3 on Disney’s Hollywood Records.

Chairman of Disney’s Hollywood Records, Bob Cavallo, remarked, “Hilary delivered on this record. It reflects her growth as a career artist.”

“She worked tirelessly with the whole Hollywood Records staff to market this record, and today’s chart debut is a testament to that.”

With the release of ‘Dignity’ there have been many number ones; from ‘With Love’ (which was also used for her perfume ‘With Love’ commercial) being the #1 most added song at Top 40 Radio and with it coming in at multiple number one slots on MTV’s TRL.

Hilary is currently in production of her new film, starring John Cusack, War, Inc.

ENGLISH rock band Muse’s front man Matt Bellamy has recently made critical remarks towards this summer’s Live Earth events.

The rocker claims that the events organizers will ultimately cause harm to the environment if the entertainers are flown in by private jet.

‘Live Earth’ will feature some of the world’s prime musical acts performing at 7 spectacular shows around the globe on July 7.

The intention is to present seven concerts on the same day – one concert on each of Earth’s seven continents – Australia, Europe, Antarctica, Africa, Asia, Europe, Nth America, Sth America.

The gigs will work to promote global awareness and action confronting the world’s greatest super-villian, which affects both our present and our future – Global Warming.

Bellamy argues that the cause is hypocritical.

He states, “Private jets for climate change, not sure about it, that seems to be a bit on edge really – that’s an issue really so we need to think about it.”

Britney Spears: “I’m just really, really shocked at like how nice our world is.”

By Honey Gillard

Britney Spears is back and making sarcastic yet wise speeches!

The star continued her hat-loving parade, on Friday, whilst hitting up a tanning salon and grabbing a sushi dinner in Bel Air.

Spears was accompanied be her cousin and BFF Allie.

On her journey she got a paparazzo to record a video message for her fans – addressing her recent period in rehab, which she says was forced upon her by her management.

Here’s what she had to say:

“Hi! Yes, first I want to say hey to all of my fans and I can’t wait for all my stuff to come out I’m really, really excited.”

“And also I just want to say that I’m just really, really shocked at like how nice our world is because it is just so nice. Like, oh my god. Like the other day like I was sitting there and I saw all these magazines and they said I was pregnant and like it’s so true. Like, America, believe everything you read because like you’re smart and I’m stupid. Like, for real! Come on, ya’ll!”

And then after that like I totally saw also on like the USA Today because always believe everything you read. It said that, you know, like, I was drinking all the time and, like, it was, like, so right. It was so true, like, oh my god.”

It was so right and like my management totally knew what they were doing when they sent me to rehab. So right you know! And like, I’m going to cry right now because the world is so nice. Like, this lady told me she said, “Britney, go to the light. Go to the light and see Jesus.” Okay and I was like, “Oh my god! I’m going to do it!” And I did and it happened! And it was just so weird, cause our world is so nice.”

So thank you so much. Thank you so much. Thank you. I’m going to have to hire you, man. Great, thank you.”

Personally I can hear a hint of sarcasm in this message. What do you think?
