The brand spankin’ new 007 film ‘Casino Royale’ is premiering in China today.

 ‘Bond’ star Daniel Craig and girlfriend producer Satsuki Mitchell have been out and about on the streets of Beijing, to attend the premiere.  

Craig excited about being in China says: “It’s been an ambition of mine to get here, and I wish I had more time.”

The movie’s director Martin Campbell was saddened on Monday after discovering pirated DVD’s of “Ling ling qi” (007 in Chinese) for sale on the streets of Beijing, hours before the film’s China premiere. He claimed that such fakes were a huge problem for the industry.

Daniel Craig commented on the copyright piracy saying: “It hasn’t premiered here yet, but I think it’s been seen here. Someone tried to sell me a copy last night. I was wearing a hat and glasses so they didn’t recognize me. I understand the reality of the situation and it saddens me, not just because of the effect it has on the movie industry but because going to the cinema is a great experience. You’re missing out by watching a bad copy of a DVD with no sound and bad picture quality. As far as I’m concerned cinema is a collective experience and you get 50 percent more by going to the cinema.”

Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton has announced that she is pregnant. 

31-year-old Emma Bunton is expecting her very first bundle of joy, with long-time boyfriend and ex-damage singer Jade Jones, 27. The pair have been dating for 8 years and are absolutely thrilled with the news. 

“We are so happy, it’s unbelievable news! What a great start to the New Year! We’re really looking forward to having a family together and to the rest of our lives.”

The former Spice Girl is quoted saying. “I guess I will be handing over the ‘Baby’ tag now to a deserving new little owner!”  

The pop star had her first antenatal scan earlier this week and the baby is due this later summer. Bunton previously admitted that she was terrified she wouldn’t be able to conceive because of former medical problems.  

During 2000, Emma had surgery to have pre-cancerous cells removed from her cervix. She soon discovered that she had endometriosis - a condition which causes the lining of the womb to come away making it difficult for the sufferer to fall pregnant.

 So I guess lots of congratulations are in order. 1! 2! 3! CONGRATULATIONS EMMA!

Marcheline Bertrand, both actress and loving mother to the very talented Angelina Jolie, has passed away after a tradgic battle with cancer. Marcheline was aged 56.

Mrs Bertrand’s death was announced by Angelina on Sunday. She had been fighting Cancer for almost 8 years, before it took her on Saturday afternoon, at Cedars-Sinai medical centre in LA.

During the final moments she was surrounded by those loved and close - Jolie, her brother, her son actor/filmmaker James Haven, and her step-son Brad Pitt.

Bertrand raised her two children (Jolie and Haven) largely with her own hands, following her divorce from actor Jon Voight. She gave up her ambitions as an actor to raise the two, though she did previously appear in such films as ‘The Man Who Loved Women’ in 1983, alongside Burt Reynolds and ‘Lookin’ to Get Out’ the following year.

The ‘Tomb Raider’ star said in a recent interview that her inspiration to become an actress sprouted from her mother, rather than her Oscar-winning father, who she speaks little too.

Jolie reported that a private funeral for her mother was being planned and instead of people sending flowers to show their support, they should send donations to the hospital’s women’s cancer research fund.

Ex-Spice girl Victoria Beckham and her husband soccer legend ‘David Beckham’ are considering launching their own reality t.v show, following their newly acquinted life in the states.

A souce told People, “At the moment neither David nor Victoria are majorly famous in the States, but starring in their own show on one of America’s biggest channels would catapult them to instant stardom.”

David Beckham and his pop star wife, known as Posh, announced earlier this month that theyd be moving to LA. Becks has signed a five-year contract with the LA Galaxy soccer team, a deal which is reportedly the greatest deal in sports history. Rumors about his salary and endorsements have rose to $250 million.

“After discussing several options with my family and advisers to either stay here at Madrid or join other major British and European clubs, I have decided to join the Los Angeles Galaxy and play in the MLS from August this year,” the soccer star announced earlier this year.

WAx figure’s of the pair have recently been imported from London to the Madame Tussauds wax museum in New York.

“Their appearance is meant to honor the real Beckhams’ hotly anticipated move to the United States in the spring,” the museum said.

The Beckhams are also set to sign a 17,736,410 million dollar deal to launch their best-selling perfumes in the US - the his and her ‘Intimately Beckham’ range, which has already been a huge hit in the UK.  

Victoria arrived in LA, earlier this week, to begin househunting. She’s reportedly planning on supplying her 3 sons wiht football themed bedrooms, costing close to 98,000 dollars.

Among the many ticket-buyers for this season, since Beckham’s signing, include such celebrities as Rod Stewart, Jennifer Lopez and Stephen Spielburg. “It has been quite amazing,” said club spokesperson Patrick Donnelly. “We do have lots of celebrity fans.”

The beautiful Jessica Alba has teamed up with the legendary Tom Cruise for a new horror flick titled ‘The Eye’.

It has not yet been reported whether Tom will star in the edgy film but it is to be produced by Tom’s production company and Cruise has been known to star lead in many of his productions, such as ‘Mission Impossible’, ‘War of the Worlds’ and ‘Minority Report’.

‘The Eye’ will be a Hollywood remake of the Hong Kong horror movie ‘Jian Gui’ and will follow a young girl, named Allison (Alba) who recieves an eye transplant that allows her to see into the supernatural realm.

Production is said to start next month in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

It is rumoured that ‘Sin City’s’ Jessica has signed a $4 million deal with Cruise/Wagner Productions for this film.

Jessica is also currently working on several other films including 2 highly-anticapated sequels - ‘Fantastic four: The rise of the Silver Surfer’ and ‘Sin City 2′ - as well ‘Awake’, a thriller opposite ‘Life as a House’ star Hayden Christensen is also in store for our cinema’s later this year.

Looks like Jess is gonna be one busy girl this coming year.
